Welcome to the Wauconda Area Youth Soccer Club (WAYSC), a Hawthorn Woods Elite Soccer Club partner. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, volunteer-based recreational soccer club. We offer soccer programs for all skill levels for players ages 4 to 14. We provide a fun, safe environment where players learn the game of soccer, the value of being a part of a team and competing for a common goal. Our players will be instructed by a combination of volunteer coaches and professional trainers who will instruct on the technical, tactical, and philosophical aspects of soccer geared towards the age and skill level of each player and team.

Registration for Spring 2025 opens in January.

U8-U14 begins September 3, with the first game September 7 x 8 weeks

TK/KK begins September 16 x 6 weeks

Volunteer Coaches receive $50 credit for the following season.

Coaches will need to complete Background Check and/or Coaches Clinic

Age divisions:

1/1/2011-12/31/2012 = U14

1/1/2013- 12/31/2014 = U12

1/1/2015 - 12/31/2016 = U10

1/1/2017 - 12/31/2018 = U8

1/1/2019 - 12/31/2020 = KK

1/1/2021 - 9/30/2021 = TK

**Please note: Girls divisions age may be altered to create an all girl league**

* In order to protect our players and the condition of the fields, GAMES & PRACTICES may be canceled if it is raining heavily. GAMES & PRACTICES will never be played if there is lightning in the area at the time of the game or practice. Fields are managed by the Park District. Soccer season means different weather - Please dress accordingly. We will provide make-ups for games only.
